Join the Cradle of Aviation Museum, home of the lunar module, in celebrating the heroes of the Apollo program on the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

Activities include moon buggy races, meet-and-greets with Space Shuttle astronauts, FREE Apollo 11 IMAX movie, virtual reality experiences with Microsoft, rocket launches and so much more including a visit from the New York Avengers. Join in a countdown at 4pm when a scale model of the Lunar Lander descends in the museum lobby. A great tie-in experience to this summer's library program theme, A Universe of Stories. And a story to share with your family; teamwork, focus, grit, determination; all part of Apollo.
